I work in the area so this is normally my breakfast spot. Usually there is a line and a long wait. I decided to start calling and placing my order ahead of time but it's a waste of time to do so because I called 15 minutes in advance and still have to go and wait 10 minutes to get my food. The food is great but the service is terrible.
MoreDelish bagels but service was not friendly. Couple times per 6 month we visit that place.
MoreTop notch pastries and breakfast options are offered here. I Wish there were more seating options. Quick 2 minute walk from 71 Ave station - E/F/M/R.
MoreProbably one of the best bagels in NYC! They are cooked on the premises. The lines are long during the weekend! Try to get there and get your bagels fast! Tuna salad, lox spread and chive cream cheese are the best! I have to say tho: The prices keep going up every day... they have to slow down with these price increases, they are selling bagels after all...
MoreGreat bagels and more. Friendly and clean.
Still very busy during quarantine. The bagels are made fresh daily and the butter and cream cheese ratio is very generous. Great muffins too! You can order online thru GrubHub for pick up. Only thing they can do better is have a pick up counter for online orders rather than the social distancing line. Overall, best neighborhood bagels.
MoreI've been going to this place for years. I love their flat bagels especially the cinnamon raisin with the walnut cream cheese. I even had breakfast catered for my son's school staff a few months ago and the service I got was amazing. The staff was so happy with the catering. They didn't forget anything. They did all the work for me and I got tons of thank yous and how much they loved it. Wish they delivered.
MoreBest bagles in forest hills. Service is usually hit or miss but worth it for the bagles
MoreBagels are ok. Customer service not so good. I wish I could name the person by name. This young man has such a horrible attitude towards customers. I gave my order, he turned around before I finished giving my order, made a mistake and when I told him what I have asked for, he rolled his eyes at me as if I had changed my mind and was giving him a hard time. He mumble something to his coworker and almost threw the bagels back to their compartments. Is nice to have warm bagels, but without the nasty attitude. To the owner, customers come to get your product and pay the price you have set already, no need for such behavior from your employees. Please fix the problem.
MoreHas been around for as long as I can remember and longer than that. Historically known for their bagels which are tasty and fresh. Great all buttered up with a hot cup of coffee
MoreBagels are decent - sometimes overdone - but their sliced tomatoes and onions are thick and gross
MoreQuality bagels and a good selection of cream cheeses and other fillings. The cream cheese is fresh and doesn't taste like something you would buy at a grocery store so that's good enough for me. It has a very pleasant NY bagel shop atmosphere- simple and comfortable seating without purposely trying to be minimalistic, lots of drinks on the side with a good selection of fresh coffee and tea packets to be made to order near the counter. However if you're only interested in a unique bagel flavor like french toast or something they only have standard typical bagel flavors- so maybe you could do a less common cream cheese flavor instead.
MoreSimple order, egg bagel with butter and a toasted corn muffin with butter and jelly. What I got was an toasted everything bagel and an untoasted corn muffin with strawberry jelly.I have become accustomed to the speedy and accurate service of Manhattan, I forget how slow and backward many of the Queens eateries are.
MoreOur local take out Kosher Bagel place, they have a nice breakfast menu.
The best bagel I have ever eat in Queens, usually you know your type of bagel, but in this bagel shop I tried some awesome begel with healthy combination!!)))
MoreUsed to be great. New ownership over last several years. Very disappointed in menu, food and service.
MoreMy favorite place
The service crew are quick, polite and good
They now have a sign which states a "Convenience Fee" will be added to credit/debit card usage. This is illegal in NY. 1 of 10 states in which it is illegal. Reported to Consumer Affairs.
MoreBest place for bagels and cream cheese in the area. Excellent customer service.
I enjoy the bagels but there could be 2 people in line and 3 people working and you will still wait 15 min. There's definitely no sense of urgency and I wonder if they realize people have to get to work the same way they had to get to work!
MoreOVERPRICED TO THE MAX!!!! Everytime I go here and order the SAME thing they charge a different amount! $19 for a bagel with lox????? THANK YOU NEXT!
MoreGood Food and bagels, fast service but you pay for it
Fresh bagels. Quick service.
Good Bagels, wish they were a little bigger
I had better.ProsHardly waiting time Bagels made there ConsToo expensive coffee and bagel 6.50...No where to sit when crowded.
MoreGoto place to get a yummy bagel and coffee for the morning subway commute.
Great bagels and coffee, nice selection for cream cheese and spreads but I’m NOT spending $6 ever again for a tiny mini bagel with tuna salad. Why?1. $6 is overpriced for any tiny bagel. 2. The quality of the tuna salad was a bit watery and not as fresh.3. The mini bagel is too tiny, smaller than the average mini bagel, so might as well eat a bag of chips lol.So yes for regular bagels and coffee but no for the seafood spreads. Definitely not going back for tuna!
MoreGreat quality bagels, "Interesting" customer service. Young man asked me to order, asked me if I was ordering when I made my order, then asked me to repeat my order. I had to ask him how much the order was and had to ask him for a plate for their indoor seating because he didn't ask me if I was staying or not! They must've just needed him to help at the front last minute 😂😂😂 Usually there's great simple and fast service from the women though! 😄
MoreStill as awful as before. I only go there when I'm in the neighborhood. Now, no matter who waits on me they deliberately get my order wrong! I only ask for 2 types of bagels.! The last time she gave me whole wheat. Does sesame sound like whole wheat? Now I know it's deliberate. I don't know why, but I will never go back there. They are stupid, to mess with a customer. The manager corrected my order a previous time. He really should get another staff. There's too many good bagel stores, I don't have to deal with morons. No more!
MoreAlways busy here. The bagels are delicious and pretty expensive. They should work on making good coffee. There are tables but it's hit or miss since it is always busy. Enjoy
MoreGood bagels, quick service. Sometimes the line of ppl waiting us long but it moves. Good coffee too.
MoreCame here for a bagel on a Saturday morning. There was something of a line, but it moved quickly. There wasn't a lot of space, and the ordering vs pick-up lines ran into each other. I ordered a nova lox bagel. The woman who took my order was hard of hearing. I had to repeat a few things. She asked if I wanted chives in my cream cheese, and I said yes. She gave me regular cream cheese. They have a high counter, so it's hard to see exactly how they're making your bagel, but I could see that they had cream cheese with chives. It feels like a deli inside. There are a few tables, but it's not the best dine-in experience. They charge a 3.5% fee for credit and debit cards, regardless of how much you spend. One of the least friendly policies I've seen. The bagel was fine, maybe even good.
MoreCheck your order before you leave! I’ve been given the wrong thing twice already!
MoreAbsolutely in love with their bagels. My son and I adore onion pump bagel with salmon cream cheese and scallion on top. Amazing
MoreBest bagels ever. Always fresh including the spreads and pastries.
Small bagels, crazy morning lines.give it a 6 out of 10 on the bagels.
Love the mid week bagel special. Great NYC bagels. A kosher bagel place so please don't ask for a ham and cheese, they won't make it. Surprisingly fast even when they are busy. Well done.
MoreAlways fresh. Good service
This is a top notch bagel shop, definitely one of the best that I have been to .me personally have tried there everything bagel with cream cheese. The bagel was a nice size and they give you a decent amount of cream cheese. The establishment was clean ,plus the cashier was nice and friendly.i didn't have to wait long at all, my only little gripe, was the bagel could have been a little bit softer. But I would definitely recommend it.
MoreQuite possibly the best bagel place in New York. Great tasting bagels and a lot of options for toppings. Sesame bagel with cream cheese and Swiss cheese is very good as is their pumpernickel bagel with lochs. No bacon and service is very quick. No frills just great bagels
MoreAlways delicious bagels...always!
Bagels are great, service is very very slow, especially for an NY deli. Which stinks as it's convenient location near the subway and railroad make it an ideal place to pick up breakfast before heading into work, however need to allow at least 10 minutes, and that's with no line.
MoreI love this place, the cream taste so good. My faves are cinnamon raisin or pumpernickel bagel, tuna and swiss. There is usually a line in the morning. Definitely would recommend this place.
MoreI think Gotta Getta Bagel is a well-run establishment with good customer service and excellent food quality. I thoroughly enjoy the food and the prices are not bad at all! I would recommend to all. The only critique I have is the lack of a curbside pickup option given the pandemic. Other than this, it is really a great place to eat!
MoreAlways delicious 10/10
A good New York bagel!
If you’re looking to get ripped off this is the bagel place for you. Way way wAy over priced. 1$13.50 for two bagels one with tuna ( barely any) and see through cheese and one bagel with walnut cream cheese.. GTFOH
MoreNot sure why it's so highly rated, worst bagels I have tried. I have tried this place several times always hoping that the last time was a fluke, but constantly horrible bagels. The staff are friendly.
MoreGreat place for a quick bagel and coffee. Food is nice and fresh, a better alternative than the corporate chains.
